will provide a credit score to you.\u00a0 Sites include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.creditkarma.com\/\">creditkarma.com<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freecreditreport.com\/\">freecreditreport.com<\/a>, credit cards like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discover.com\/free-credit-score\/\">Discover<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nerdwallet.com\/home\/dashboard\/credit-score\">Nerdwallet<\/a>.\u00a0 Sure, it is good to know your credit score, but there are other things to know.\u00a0 First, many sites give you a free score, yet charge for another service in order to get the score.\u00a0 Next, many sites offer free credit scores because it is a way to get you on their marketing list.\u00a0 Advertisers then contact you for offers.\u00a0 Another thing to remember is that credit scores vary depending on the type pulled.\u00a0 Check out &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/teammovemortgage.com\/blog\/2017\/06\/09\/mortgage-credit-score\/\">Why is my mortgage credit score lower than my free credit was just to Equifax, so why should I check the other 2 bureaus?\u00a0 Well, it was social security numbers, dates of birth, drivers license numbers, among other personal identifying items that was announced this data breach through a national press release as well as created a website to further educate consumers on the issue.\u00a0 Through this site you will learn of an Equifax owned\u00a0entity called Trusted ID Premier.\u00a0 Equifax is offering this service for free in order for consumers to better protect their credit, assets, and identity.\u00a0 I saw one article that mentioned when consumers sign up for this service, that it could exclude the consumer from a potential class action lawsuit.\u00a0 There is no telling if that is true, so research this before signing
